GoodYarn is an evidence-based, peer-delivered, mental health literacy programme for workplaces, both rural and urban, that enables people to talk about mental health.
The first step in addressing mental health in the workplace is being able to talk about it.
GoodYarn is an evidence-based, peer-delivered mental health literacy programme for the workplace – both rural and urban. GoodYarn has three key aims and evaluation indicators:
- Increase awareness of signs and symptoms of common mental illnesses;
- Build confidence in starting a conversation where you are concerned; and
- Improve knowledge of where and how to get help.
The programme is overseen by the Good Programmes Trust which is a registered charity. Our trustees and partners train facilitators within businesses who then deliver 3-hour GoodYarn workshops to their staff.
The results are starting to speak for themselves.
