Community Workshops

From time to time, the Good Programmes Trust delivers GoodYarn mental health literacy workshops to community groups and small businesses who may not have the ability or capacity to train their own facilitators.

Mental health literacy programmes provide practical information of how to seek help for mental health concerns and how to help others who may have mental health symptoms. The workshops are practical, interactive and enjoyable.

The workshops will cover:

  • What mental health is and how to look after it;
  • How to talk to someone you are concerned about;
  • Signs and symptoms of mental stress and distress; and
  • How and where to go for support.

The facilitators are all experienced people, who are passionate about mental wellbeing, and who understand the unique challenges small rural communities and businesses face.

We hope to announce some more Community GoodYarn workshops soon so please check this page regularly, or if you’d like to be put on a waiting list, please email info@goodyarn.org.
